Italian Fashion Editor/Stylist Aurora Sansone has clearly made a name for herself as a International fashion force with her work in the pages of Japanese Vogue (Nippon). It is clear that she has a great eye for fashion by infusing a quirky and edgy style that appeals to the vibrant Japanese publication. Her editorial work has the Sansone aesthetic with a variety of textures, materials and color. There is also a hint of a masculine sensation that resonates in her styling to give the idea of a strong women.
Sansone started her career by working as a intern with Vogue Nippon's Fashion Director at Large, Anna Dello Russo. She had great admiration for Dello Russo and it was her dream to work with a incredible fashion icon. While working under Dello Russo she displayed great talent and ventured into styling and editorial work. The editor in Chief of Vogue Nippon, Mistuko Watanabe, had also noticed potential in her work.
Sansone has been contributing to Vogue Nippon since 2008. She has worked with many prestigious photographers such as Paolo Kudacki, Matt Irwin, Laura Sciacovelli, David Mushegain, Josh Olins and Mariano Vivanco.
Aurora Sansone has tremendous talent that reflects on the pages of Vogue Nippon. Expect to see more of her impressive work in future issues in the Japanese publication. -Brent Billiman, Paris, France.
